In 1861, French biologist Henri Mouhot ventured deep into the jungles of Southeast Asia in search of rare butterflies. His companions heard terrifying legends about a mysterious castle hidden within the jungle. Driven by curiosity, Mouhot decided to press on, ultimately discovering the renowned Angkor Wat. This ancient city was once the center of the Khmer Empire, rich in architectural artistry and cultural relics. However, after the city was captured by Siamese forces in 1431, it was suddenly abandoned, leaving behind countless unsolved mysteries.
