Lu Dongbin, a legendary figure from the Tang Dynasty, is known for his Daoist teachings and is often referred to as 'Chunyang' or 'The Pure Yang'. He wandered through the world, calling himself a 'returning Daoist'. His tales are widely shared in folklore. In Yongle Town, Ruicheng County, Shanxi Province, there lies the famous Yongle Palace, not far from which is Lu Dongbin's tomb. However, an archaeological excavation in 1959 revealed a puzzling secret: the tomb contained the remains of both a male and a female, and the unearthed coins suggested that the tomb's occupant might have lived during the Song Dynasty, nearly two hundred years after Lu Dongbin's time. This discovery has sparked significant debate regarding the identity of the tomb's owner, and no conclusive answers have been reached to this day.
