In South America, there are two mysterious sites that attract numerous archaeology enthusiasts: Saksaywaman and the city of Tiahuanaco. The enigma of Tiahuanaco lies in the discovery of an astronomical calendar in a dried-up marsh, which presents undeniable facts proving that the beings who created and used this calendar possessed a culture and civilization superior to that of modern humans. Another strange find here is the "Great Idol," carved from a single block of red sandstone, measuring 8.5 meters long and weighing over thirty tons, discovered within the "Ancient Temple." What is perplexing is the hundreds of intricate symbols adorning the idol, which remain difficult to understand, while the construction techniques of the building housing the idol are primitive yet remarkably advanced, leading to its designation as the "Ancient Temple."

In their book "The Great Idol of Tiahuanaco," Bellamy and Allen provide a reasonable interpretation of these symbols. They argue that these symbols record extensive astronomical knowledge based on the fact that "the Earth is round." Their views align perfectly with those of Holbig in his book "The Satellite Theory," published in 1930, five years before the idol's discovery. Holbig's work posits that a satellite was captured by Earth, and as it was drawn towards the planet, Earth's rotation slowed, ultimately resulting in the satellite breaking apart to form the moon. The symbols on the idol accurately document the astronomical phenomena of that time, when a year on Earth was 290 days, and the satellite orbited the Earth 427 times a year. Thus, the astronomical calendar on the idol records celestial events from 27,000 years ago. They write, "Overall, the inscriptions on the idol give the impression of a record left for future generations."

Indeed, this is an ancient artifact, and merely stating "this is an ancient god" is insufficient; a better explanation is needed. If Bellamy and Allen's claims can be substantiated, one must wonder: can those who had to learn extensively just to build houses really accumulate such astronomical knowledge? Where did they acquire this knowledge? Could it have come from extraterrestrial civilizations? Regardless, the complexity of the knowledge demonstrated by the idol and the astronomical calendar is astonishing.

Tiahuanaco is also shrouded in mystery. Located at an altitude of 5,000 meters, reaching this city from Cusco, Peru, requires several days of travel by train and boat to arrive at the excavation site. The landscape of this plateau resembles that of an alien planet. Physical labor is nearly unbearable for any outsider due to the low atmospheric pressure, which is about one-third that of sea level, and the oxygen content in the air is also very low, only one-third of normal levels. Yet, a large city once thrived on this plateau, and the ancient ruins are scattered with enigmatic messages of ancient mysteries. Massive sandstone blocks weighing 150 tons are stacked with 70-ton stones to form walls. The surfaces of these stones are polished smooth, and the angles of their joints are remarkably precise, connected with copper dowels, and bonded exceptionally well. Some ten-ton stones have holes three meters deep, the purpose of which remains unexplained. The thin, five-meter-long slabs carved from the same stone do little to unravel the hidden mysteries here. Two-meter-long, one-meter-wide stone water pipes lie scattered about like toys, evidently the result of some disaster. However, the specifics of that disaster remain unknown. The craftsmanship of these water pipes is astonishingly intricate, making even modern concrete pipes seem inferior. How did the ancestors of Tiahuanaco create such exquisite water pipes without advanced tools? This is truly baffling.

In a restored courtyard, there is a jumble of stone-carved heads, which upon closer inspection depict various ethnic groups: some with thin lips, others with thick; some with long noses, others with flat noses; some with thick ears, others with small; some with prominent facial features, others with softer lines; and some heads adorned with strange helmets. Why are there so many different ethnicities? This is perplexing. Additionally, there is the "Gate of the Sun," carved from a single massive stone, approximately 5 meters high and 3 meters wide. This stone sculpture is estimated to weigh over 20 tons. On either side, there are 50 square patterns arranged in four rows, surrounding an image resembling a flying deity. The legends of Tiahuanaco tell us that long ago, a golden spaceship descended from the sky, and a woman named Oriana emerged from it, tasked with becoming the "Great Woman" of Earth. Oriana had only four fingers, with webbing between them. The great mother Oriana bore 70 children of Earth before returning to the heavens. In Tiahuanaco, we indeed find stone walls depicting beings with four fingers, the dating of which remains uncertain, and they also exhibit webbing between the fingers.

Aside from Tiahuanaco, Saksaywaman is also noteworthy, located less than 900 meters from the famous Inca fortress. We cannot imagine what technological means were employed to quarry each massive stone weighing over 150 tons from the quarry and transport it to distant locations for processing. On the way back from the Saksaywaman fortifications, one can see a stone block as tall as a four-story building in a volcanic crater on a hillside several hundred meters away. This massive stone has been meticulously carved, featuring steps and ramps, adorned with spiral patterns and holes. Processing such an unprecedentedly large stone could not have been a leisurely pursuit for the ancient Incas. But who could have imagined that humans could quarry, transport, and sculpt such a massive stone using only their hands and sheer effort? What purpose did this serve? How was it accomplished? These questions await further investigation by scientists.

Ancient Tibetan texts, such as the "Dandowa" and "Kandowa," also speak of prehistoric flying devices, referring to them as "heavenly pearls." In the article "Samarangna—Sudradharā," entire chapters are dedicated to describing ships that emit fire and mercury from their tails.

The Vatican Museum's Alberto Tulli discovered a fragment of an ancient text dating back to the time of Thutmose III, around 1600 BC, which recounts a miraculous legend: a fireball descended from the sky, emitting a foul odor. Thutmose and his soldiers watched this phenomenon until the fireball flew south and disappeared from sight.

Legends from ancient Norway and Iceland also mention gods soaring through the air. The goddess Frigg had a servant named Gna, whom the goddess sent on a horse capable of flying over land and sea to another world; this horse was named "Huginn" (meaning "fire-breathing hooves"). The "Revelation" discovered near the Dead Sea describes such a fire-breathing vehicle. The text states, "Behind that man, I saw a fiery chariot, every wheel filled with eyes, with a throne upon it, surrounded by a blaze." The throne and heavenly chariot are traditional symbols and totems of Jewish deities, roughly equivalent to the early Christian and Greek concept of the "Pleroma" (the great light).

In the ancient city of Memphis, located in the Nile Delta of Egypt, there are similar legends. The god Ptah presented the king with two models to celebrate the anniversary of his reign, commanding him to celebrate this anniversary six times over the course of 100,000 years. When Ptah delivered the models to the king, he arrived in a shining chariot, and soon after, he vanished over the horizon in his vehicle. Today, we can still see depictions of winged suns and eagles marked with eternal symbols on the doors and temples in Edfu.

If a helicopter were to land for the first time in an African jungle, the locals would have never seen such a thing. The helicopter emits a terrifying roar as it descends onto a clearing. The pilot, dressed in combat gear and carrying a machine gun, jumps out of the cockpit. The tribal people, clad in loincloths, stare in awe at this strange object descending from the sky and the unfamiliar being, paralyzed with fear and uncertainty about where to place their hands and feet. After a while, the helicopter takes off again, disappearing into the sky. The remaining tribesman begins to formulate an explanation for this event. He will tell his absent companions that he saw a flying vehicle, a large bird, emitting a terrifying sound and odor, along with a white-skinned being wielding a fire-breathing weapon. This extraordinary visitor is recorded in history, passed down through generations, forming these miraculous stories. When fathers recount the tale to their sons, the heavenly bird will not shrink in size, while the being that emerged from it becomes even more extraordinary, more dignified, and more capable. The story is embellished with various details, but the premise of this miraculous legend remains: a helicopter indeed landed. From that moment on, this event became a myth for this tribe, forever passed down and growing more mysterious with each retelling.
