Can a rock tell time? It sounds almost unbelievable, but in the vast desert southwest of Alice Springs in central Australia, there is indeed a rock that can 'tell time.' This towering monolith, reaching 348 meters high, changes color in a remarkably regular pattern to indicate the passage of time: brown in the morning, gray-blue at noon, and red in the evening. It serves not only as a 'standard clock' for local residents but also attracts attention due to its unique shape-shifting characteristics.

The rock changes color not only with the intensity of sunlight but also transforms its appearance based on the angle of sunlight hitting it: sometimes resembling a giant shark's dorsal fin, other times a sleek black submarine, and at times, a giant dressed in green, reclining on a soft white bed. These transformations make this rock a natural wonder.
