On December 5, 1873, the American cargo ship De Gracia discovered the strange Mary Celeste in the Atlantic Ocean. The sails of the Mary Celeste were slack, and the deck was deserted, yet breakfast was still set on the table. Captain Moiahas and his crew boarded the ship to investigate and found the interior intact, but the ship's log and the whereabouts of the captain's wife and daughter were unknown. Since then, several other ships have been found adrift at different times and locations, each with food and cargo untouched, but with all crew members mysteriously vanished. The mystery of these ghost ships remains unsolved to this day.
