Over 80 years ago, a giant left foot impression measuring 1.2954 meters long and 0.696 meters wide appeared on granite at the border between South Africa and Swaziland. This footprint is not only clearly visible, but even the ridges between the toes are distinct, leaving an inexplicable mark on the hard granite. Why would such a rare giant footprint appear on granite? Is it the footprint of an extraterrestrial giant, or is it a human forgery?
At the time, media outlets around the world reported on this mysterious event, speculating that it might belong to a giant from outer space. Some experts suggested that the giant could have an extremely high body temperature, capable of melting granite; others believed the giant's body temperature was very low, allowing it to soften granite under high heat. However, none of these theories could explain why the footprint was so clear and showed no signs of artificial alteration.
It wasn't until a journalist named David Barlett tirelessly traveled to the site to investigate that the existence of the footprint was confirmed. He discovered that the footprint penetrated 15.24 centimeters into the granite, which is nearly impossible to achieve on such hard rock. The local Swazi people believe this is the 'Footprint of God' and regard it as a sacred site. Yet, this footprint is not an isolated phenomenon. 6000 kilometers away in Sri Lanka, a similar right foot impression has also been found. The mystery of these two giant footprints continues to perplex the scientific community, leaving many questions unanswered.
