About half a century ago, archaeologists discovered a peculiar underwater tomb complex within the coral reefs of the Federated States of Micronesia in the Western Pacific. Surrounded by stone pillars, these tombs were said to have been built to protect the spirits from disturbance. In 1920, Japanese biologist Sugiura forced the local chief to reveal a secret passage, eventually entering the tomb and documenting his findings, but tragically fell ill and died shortly after. Another German archaeologist, Berna, met a similar fate. It wasn't until 1970 that Japanese biologist Shirai Yohei revisited the site. After experiencing a strange storm, he sought confirmation from the local chief and learned that it was a warning from the sea god. Recently, an American scientific investigation team used advanced equipment to date the stone pillars, but they still face a significant challenge in unraveling this historical mystery.
