In the spring of 1983, farmers in South Moulton, Devon, England, faced a series of mysterious attacks on their sheep. Eric Lee, a local farmer, lost over 100 sheep in just two months due to an unknown predator. Unlike typical attacks from dogs or foxes, this beast targeted the sheep's throats directly. Most witnesses described it as a large, black, cat-like creature, measuring up to 8 feet in length, with some reports of a deep brown variant. Occasionally, people even claimed to have seen two large 'cats'—one black and one deep brown—seemingly moving together. A few individuals also reported sightings of a large beast resembling an unusual dog. This series of events remains an unsolved mystery to this day.
