In the early 18th century, King Rudolph of Prussia planned to construct a stunning "Amber Room," entirely decorated with amber that shimmered with an indescribable brilliance. However, the glory was short-lived as the amber began to fall off, leading the king to remove it from the palace. In 1716, Peter the Great acquired the "Amber Room" and transported it back to Petersburg. Twenty years later, Empress Anna Petrovna reinstated the "Amber Room" during the reconstruction of the Summer Palace. During World War II, Nazi Germany looted cultural treasures and transported the "Amber Room" to Königsberg. After the war, Soviet search teams scoured various locations but ultimately failed to recover this precious treasure.
