During the analysis of satellite images of Bohai Bay, scientists uncovered a perplexing square image, evenly divided into two parts by a straight line. This image is quite large, measuring approximately 24 kilometers in length from north to south and about 20 kilometers wide from east to west, located about 79 kilometers northwest of Dalian City. Its shape and layout bear a striking resemblance to the architectural styles of ancient cities, leading to speculation that it could be the ruins of a sunken ancient city.
To further investigate the truth, scientists collected a wealth of underwater data and found three shallow water zones in the depth charts that correspond perfectly with the three sides of the image. Additionally, they consulted archaeological experts, who revealed that some small ancient city and granary remnants from the Tang Dynasty had been discovered on the Liaodong Peninsula and nearby islands, but none of these were comparable in scale to the massive image in question.
