Today, a Chinese citizen named Li Congxiu believes he is the happiest man in the world. This is because, not long ago, American medical experts performed a major surgery to remove his extra second head, allowing him to live like a normal person.
Li Congxiu has long been troubled by a congenital physiological defect that resulted in the presence of a second head. Recently, during a visit to the transistor radio factory where he worked, a businessman from the United States, along with his wife, Ken Donald, discovered Li in distress. Moved by his plight, she shed tears of sympathy, and the couple decided on the spot to do whatever it took to alleviate his suffering and help this unfortunate man.
With the help of his American friends, Li soon completed all the necessary procedures to travel to the U.S. for treatment and flew to San Francisco with the visiting American delegation. Three days later, a medical team of five American surgeons successfully removed his second head and performed an intricate facial reconstruction surgery lasting over 20 hours. Dr. Guy Richard stated, "Li Congxiu has recovered quickly after the surgery, and his body is currently in optimal condition. He has finally passed the test of this operation."
For the first time in his life, Li Congxiu met a girlfriend, a nurse at the hospital who is an American lady born in China, and they are set to tie the knot.
