Recently, an Indian couple gave birth to a remarkable baby named Abdul in South Africa. At birth, Abdul appeared to be a perfectly normal and robust baby. However, a few days later, people were astonished to discover that he had developed two additional legs on the inside of his original pair.
Dr. James confirmed that this baby indeed has four legs, which is an incredible fact. Despite this, the rare deformity has yet to receive a scientific explanation. Abdul is now five months old, and typically, such deformities are treated through surgical intervention. However, due to the complexity and rarity of the condition, the success rate for surgery is only 50%.
Abdul's mother recalled that he underwent a colostomy at two weeks old. Experts plan to further investigate the genetic makeup of Abdul's parents, and initial results show everything is normal. Abdul's father stated that there has never been a similar congenital deformity in their family, so genetic factors are unlikely. He firmly believes that with the help of the nation's top medical experts, Abdul can grow up healthy like other children.
Abdul's parents are not troubled by their child's unusual appearance; they only consider surgery if the two extra legs hinder Abdul's movement. Currently, they only agree to surgery if absolutely necessary, as they view it as a significant decision.
